just had a dream where i was on this tiny planet run by some crazy gunslinging red neck. My job was to try to shoot down santa. So when Saint Nick flys by i shoot at him with this over sized six shooter and the red neck loves it. I dont think i actually shoot Santa but i gave it a dam good go. So after we jump around abit and shoot our guns some more i go to my room. Its this tiny dark room in this underground apartment building that seems bigger than the planet. i weep tonight for humanity. for if we have been created in the image of a god, then i fear we are in for great suffering. our attitudes towards not only the the lesser of our own species, but our attitudes towards the creatures we see as lesser than ourselves are truly evil. those who need to be cared for and watched over are so easily disregarded. how can we go on eating meat? our behaviors towards animals are reflected in the behaviors towards our own species. if we can tolerate battery farming, torture, experimentation and so so many evil evil practices on animals then i guess we can tolerate it on each other. we live in this day
